Ardee and Penny Tyler of Fairview each received ten-year suspended sentences Monday on felony child abuse charges. Their son Ashton is charged with rape by instrumentation and his case has been continued until March 10. Their daughter Nathania previously pled no contest to misdemeanor assault and battery charges.
Prosecuters alleged the couple abused a then 9-year-old Liberian girl they had adopted between 2005 and 2007.
